| The Role of the Federal Government
The framers of the U.S. Constitution wrote "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
It is people (our country's most precious resource) who make up the United States of America. The federal government does not make up the USA; instead the federal government's primary role and purpose is to protect and defend our freedoms! Unfortunately, our federal government has decided to take for itself many of our rights and powers as citizens.
It is time that we as citizens take back our rights and powers. It is time that we return the federal government to its rightful place as a limited government, a government which protects and defends our freedoms. A government that does not take our freedoms and powers away! |
